How to join Gavilan Kennel Club
Step 1	Come to a couple of Gavilan KC meetings and meet the club members. See if this type of dog club is right for you. Meetings: Gavilan Kennel Club meetings are held the 1st Wednesday evening of each month at Marie Callendars in Morgan Hill. Start time is 7:15 PM. If you wish to have dinner plan on coming earlier. (We usually arrive about 6:30). [meeting in June, annual awards dinner held somewhere else]
Step 2	After coming to 2 meetings, the vice-president will talk to you to see if you want to join the club.
Step 3	Fill out application form, add check and mail or give to vice-president. After filling out form: Fill out application, make check payable to Gavilan KC and mail to: Gavilan Kennel Club Attn: Donnelle Richards, Membership Chairman 9000 Ridgeway Drive, Gilroy, CA 95020 Application Requirements: Prospective members must attend 2 general meetings before submitting an application. In addition, you will need the sponsorship of two (2) regular members (not associate) who are not in the same household When you join as a regular member, you will be an associate member for 6 months. After 6 months, you will be eligible for regular membership status (with voting privileges). Check for joining: June to December. $30 (application fee+ dues) Dec to May. $15 (application fee)
Step 4	At a subsequent Gav KC meeting, you will be voted on by the club.
